This indigo thai silk dress was made to wear to a winter wedding in the UK (so needed sleeves). The wide shoulders are good to balance wider hips and the ruched waist detail emphasises a small waist. We made this one shorter - above knee - because our client had great legs. You could make it longer and add a can can petticoat underneath for a perfect 50s vintage dress.
This cool and comfy butterfly sleeve top is made in sheer polyester chiffon and has a separate bias cut cami underneath - all washable - and the cami can be used on its own or under other tops. Client has already ordered another one in a different colour and print. Very versatile; best worn with pants.
Refreshing aqua blue stretch cotton false wrap shirt with cystal Swarovski decorative buttons. One of our best sellers! Hides the tum and is as suitable for the boardroom with tailored pants or pencil skirt as it is with dark blue denim or white jeans.

Suzanne Kobine Wedding Dress
"It was an amazing dress to wear, so comfortable, and so much admired. My husband was stunned, truly. We had a beautiful day from start to finish. Thank you so much to the whole team, and especially to the designer – she really connected with what I wanted and the result was perfect. " |
Angela Locke Wedding Dress
"Mayn (the lucky groom) loved the dress as did everyone else. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you and the team put into it. I know I was quite fussy about it all! " |
Anne Adam (pictured on the bottom left) “”Finding clothes for business & leisure, that really felt right for me & travelled well, was always a challenge. Over the past 2 years Carol and her talented team have continued to develop my business ‘capsule’ and have shown me what styles & colours work best for my lifestyle & my shape! My ‘Cayen’ clothes are made to fit me, they consistently look good and they are finished beautifully. I can confidently mix & match with my ‘capsule’ - and worrying about what to wear for work each day or pack for a business trip is no longer the headache that it was! A few key pieces will take me easily through the week and from day to evening with just a change of shoes or jewelry. I am delighted I found Cayen! “”

Elspeth Town - St Andrews Ball 2008 Elspeth Town is Chieftain of the historic St Andrews Society in Singapore. She is pictured here wearing the gown that Cayen sponsored for her to wear at the St Andrews Ball on the 21st November. Elspeth brought us a small piece of tartan silk that she had bought on a recent trip to Scotland and asked us if we could incorporate it into the design and also she showed us her Chieftains medallion, which she would be wearing as well. We came up with the design suggesting an off the shoulder design using the tartan pleated at the shoulders and the rest of the dress to be in white crepe in a fitted style flaring out below the knees. This would both show off Elspeth’s lovely slim figure and allow her freedom to dance (essential for the Scottish dancing at the Ball). I think you will agree that Elspeth looked very regal in her dress and she, quite deservedly, received many compliments. |

Christine Knight-Maunder
“I chanced upon an article in Expat Living about Cayen about three weeks before I was due to attend a ball, and loved the clothes featured in the article.
Needing something to fit in with the "Surrealist" theme of the ball, I visited Carol a mere two weeks before the ball. I tried on a number of stunning gowns and finally found the perfect dress though unfortunately it had already been sold to someone else.
Carol suggested I get a dress in the same style made but with a different fabric and produced a stunning fabric with a Dali-esque feel to it that was perfect for my ball dress.
In less than two weeks, Carol and her team produced the most fantastic dress which fitted me perfectly and stood out from the numerous LBD's at the ball.
I have already recommended Cayen to many of my friends and intend to be a regular visitor myself!"

“Carol and her fantastic team at Cayen deserve
a million thank you's for their impeccable
service and expert advice, from initial consultation
through to dress completion.
My dress looks amazing, Thank You!”
Jenny Bigio
“Me in bold prints? In swirling multi-colours? In floaty silk frocks? No way! My wardrobe can be divided into two distinct eras.
BC (Before Carol) I wore trousers and tops
in plain neutral colours; my flashy streak
confined to an ever growing collection of shoes
and earrings.
AC (After Carol), there's been a seismic shift in my attitude to clothes as well as my sense of what suits me. What am I wearing now? Yeah, you guessed....boldly patterned floaty silk dresses!”
Judy Blyth
"I had no idea what to wear to my son's wedding but Carol and her team helped and guided me through the process and produced a lovely dress that received many appreciative comments on the day - many thanks to all at Cayen!"
